Venue Hire

The rental of Hideaway Lane is limited to 3 hours only (depending on the package and application). If you need additional time, please reach out to Hideaway Lane to check availability.

 

Payment Details A $500 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation, with the remaining balance due two weeks before the event. Payments should be made via direct deposit to the Hideaway Lane bank account. Your payment details will be provided on your invoice. Bank Details- We currently only accept payments via bank transfer.

Wet Weather The client acknowledges that in the case of severe weather conditions, the outdoor area may be unavailable for use. If this happens, Hideaway Lane will relocate the event indoors. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.

 

Cancellation Fees 

• Cancellations made more than a month before the hire period will receive a refund, minus a $25 administration fee.

• Cancellations within 1 month of the hire period will forfeit 50% of the deposit.

• Cancellations made less than 1 week before the hire period are non-refundable

 

Hirer Liability

The invoice provided serves as the contract and outlines the hire details. If the Hirer fails to confirm or review the invoice details, Hideaway Lane will not be held responsible for any errors.

 

Additional Fees Cleaning

If the cleaning required is deemed excessive, an additional fee will be charged

 

Damages

A fee for any breakages or damage to the venue or its property will be charged. The cost of repairs or replacement will be added to your final invoice.

 

Set up/Pack Down - Should you require an extensive setup or pack down; an additional fee will be charged to cover the time and resources involved. Please contact us in advance to discuss your specific setup requirements and receive an estimate of the associated cost.

Overtime Charges

If you go beyond the agreed-upon rental time, an extra fee may be applied Equipment or Service - Additional charges may apply if you require extra equipment, such as AV gear, furniture, or decorations.

 

COVID 19

If your booking is cancelled, Hideaway Lane will hold your reservation until a suitable alternative date is selected. If the booking is cancelled and no alternative date is chosen, payments made will be refunded to the nominated account, minus a $100 administration fee.

 

Hire Obligations

As the hirer of Hideaway Lane, you are responsible for ensuring the venue is maintained in the condition in which you found it during the hire period. You are not permitted to alter, tamper with, or repair any items at Hideaway Lane. Please notify us immediately if you notice any damage.

 

Public Liability

While we strive to provide a safe and comfortable environment, we are not responsible for any injuries sustained by customers that are not due to our negligence or breach of our duty of care. We have public liability insurance to cover incidents where we are found liable for damages, but we cannot be held responsible for injuries caused by customer recklessness, disregard for safety instructions, or actions outside of our control.

Limitations of Liabilities

The Hirer is responsible for ensuring the safe use of all products. The Hirer is also liable for any third-party damages or injuries that occur while the products are in use.

 

Confidentiality

For the purpose of this agreement, all personal details will be kept private and confidential and will not be shared with any third parties.
